What should I know before arriving?

Please arrive with your dog wearing a collar or harness and secured on a leash. Ensure your pet has toileted before arrival, and let us know about any medical conditions, injuries, or behavioural concerns before the appointment. For everyone's safety, we may refuse or stop a groom if a pet cannot be safely handled.

How long will my appointment take?

Drop-off times are confirmed when booking, and we'll notify you once your pet is ready for collection. Grooming times may vary depending on your pet's coat, size, behaviour, and the services requested.

What happens if I cancel or arrive late?

Accepted Answer

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours may require a $50 deposit to secure the next booking. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late without notice will incur a $15 late fee and may be changed to a wash & dry service only.

What if my pet has fleas?

All pets should be on a current flea prevention program. If fleas are found during grooming, a mandatory $20 flea treatment fee will apply. Additional cleaning charges may be required for severe infestations.

What if my dog's coat is matted?

Accepted Answer

If the matting is mild, we will do our best to gently brush it out where possible.However, if the matting is severe or tight against the skin, brushing can be painful and may cause unnecessary stress or injury. In these cases, we will recommend clipping the matted areas to ensure your dog's comfort and safety.A $20 AUD de-matting fee applies when clipping is required to safely remove severe matting.

What should I expect after grooming?

Accepted Answer

Some pets may feel tired or experience mild sensitivity, licking, or scratching after grooming, especially after close clipping. These reactions are usually temporary. If symptoms persist, please consult your veterinarian. Regular grooming every 4–6 weeks helps maintain a healthy coat.

Are there any risks with ear plucking or poodle feet?

Accepted Answer

Dogs receiving ear plucking or poodle feet for the first time may experience temporary redness, licking, or mild sensitivity. By choosing these services, you acknowledge that these temporary reactions can occur.
